HIATUS & DROPS
Place the word ‘Hiatus’ in the subject line
➡ A hiatus lasting two (2) weeks or more will excuse you from that month’s AC check.
➡Hiatuses may last a maximum of one (1) month. Extenuating circumstances may allow for exceptions and will be made on a case-by-case basis after discussions with the the mod team.
➡Hiatuses cannot be used consecutively with an AC pass or vice versa. They also cannot be taken consecutively.
➡Characters on hiatus can be set to autopilot, enter a deep sleep that they cannot be awakened from, or disappear
Please place the word ‘Drop’ in the subject line.
➡ Black and white static consuming them with a soft scratching of white noise
➡ Freeze in place and fade out of existence
➡ Bodies will blink or flicker in and out of reality where they sit/stand/lie
➡ Sudden disappearance
Characters that are not witnessed as leaving simply disappear one day or night, and their personal items are all that remain behind. These items may be distributed or gifted between player characters; items not distributed will end up in the Green Corridor to be bartered or exchanged.
Characters that are reapplied into the game will begin with no memories of their previous adventures in Edictum. They may regain their lost memories using rewards (if it is the same player reapplying). Reapplied characters that are told of their previous adventures by other player characters will experience déjà vu and frequent headaches for the first month of their newest stay.
Canon timelines can change and be fluid, so nothing requires a solid streamline view of what it is to be existing in Edictum. One thing is a constant: characters will always remember the time that they spent in the game setting regardless if they jump forward in a canon update or slide backwards in a timeline regression.
➡ Characters may be updated or regressed in their timelines. Updates to new content (eg. new chapter or season) will require a one (1) month delay to limit spoilers.
➡ Characters will be absent from the game for a minimum of seven (7) days, though players may opt for longer.
➡ Characters will feel as if they simply fell asleep and then awakened with their new canon point.
➡ Characters who regress to a prior canon point will still retain their memories, decisions and actions of their time in game. Their new regressed canon point may change their age, maturity level, even decision making process, but they are fully aware of what they have done in game regardless even if such actions may not yet make sense to them any longer.

Canon Update
Character(s): Dante
Canon: Limbus Company
New Canon Point: Post-Spring Cultivation → Post-Canto IX
Characterization Changes:
Just being careful for spoilers
Canto IX didn't necessarily change Dante's characterization so much as it elaborated on it by putting them through one hell of a stress test. It showed that they still have their doubts that the Sinners see them as more than just their manager, revealed that they have a difficult time reading people.
They also can be rather single-minded when it comes to completing their goals. The action of theirs that unlocked the unstable Malkuth ability came about as a desire to bring the other Sinners to their side in order to take back the Golden Boughs. While the way it manifested wasn't what they were looking for, even if it did work the way they wanted to, Dante would have been depriving the other teams they were working with of valuable backup either way, leading to the death of one of the members of Limbus Company's Enkephalin Department.
On a better note, this chapter also solidified the fact that Dante is an excellent multitasker and can provide support and direct multiple VERY STRESSFUL battles at once if they lock in.
Additional Skills:
Still being careful with spoilers
M@!L%#TH (Unstable) Feel free to deny this skill if you think it might break the setting too much.
This skill allows Dante to look in on and assign Identities to the Sinners from a distance (going with no more than the same building/small town here), as well as call the Sinners to their side (sort of).
Dante will only be able to assign Identities if they have the proper cards and their PDA on them. Any spying/looking in on the Sinners will be done with the permission of ALL the people in the thread. If I get even one "no" on the thread, Dante didn't see it.
When Dante calls the Sinners to their side, any Sinners already nearby will not be affected. Those who are a far enough distance away will lose consciousness and a copy/identity of themself with no will of their own will appear next to Dante to fight for them. I'll make sure to clear this with anyone playing Sinners before I have Dante do this in a thread.
Ira - Temporarily reforges their connection to a Sinner to boost their power. To translate this into RP in a way that differentiates it from Superbia, while Superbia focuses on a decisive clash and is better for powering up Sinners' E.G.O, Ira is an all around boost that lasts for a longer period of time. Superbia for the last stand or a single, strong blow; Ira for something a little more prolonged
Anything Else: I'd like to either backdate their disappearance to have them back in action the first couple days in March if possible.

Canon Update
Character(s): Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter/Bullseye
Canon: MCU
New Canon Point: Updating him with the memories of his time in the game
Characterization Changes: More than anything else, it's Dex's new pets that affected him during his almost ten months in the game. He ended up (or rather they chose him) as the owner of two wolfdogs named Cy Young and Nova. Having two creatures entirely dependent on him who also adored him as their owner taught him that he does indeed have the ability to care and love someone else enough to put their welfare before his. It's a first for him. On a darker note, when the Big Bad of the game influenced his mind, he went on a killing spree several times, with five NPCs dead by his hands by the time the game ended. These deaths don't bother him too much, for he felt he could justify almost any deaths to himself in the name of survival.
Additional Skills: During his time in the game, he was taught how to make and use a bow & arrows. He was also taught how to track down animals in order to hunt them for food.
Anything Else: Due to food shortages in the game, Dex has lost quite a bit of weight since he hasn't been able to always eat enough. He's going to come back looking like he's abruptly lost about twenty-five pounds in the week that he'll be gone.
